Re: How to create a form in Word documents to contain checkboxes e

Sorry, you've reached the limits of my ignorance when it comes to ActiveX
controls. Other than those that come with the vba editor, I don't use them.
I suspect you had an additional package or library reference installed.

Hi Charles Kenyon,

Maybe I should put the userform in the template. However, I could only
find
the activeX controls such checkboxes, textboxes etc. in the toolbox and
the
Microsoft Web components seemed to be missing even though they had been
included in the VBA editor.

Please advise
Wai

You _can_ put a UserForm in a document, but this has the same attendant
problems as putting macros in documents: Word security will likely shut
it
down in most corporate environments.

Why do you want it in the document?

Hi Charles Kenyon & Doug Robbins,
I got two more questions:
1. I want the userform to be embeded in the word document instead of
the
template.
2. I want to add other activeX controls to the userform such as
Microsoft
Web Components.
Please advise.

I am using office 2000. I have got some questions about Word VBA.
1. How can I create a form in Word documents for holding textboxes,
checkboxes etc.? Which ActiveX control should be used?
2. What VBA codes should be added so as to launch the form
automatically
whenever the document is opened?
Please advise.
