Hello,
I am using word 2000 on Win.XP
I designed a word template with bookmarks and a word table with 5
cols(Prod.No, Descr, price, qty, colr, etc) .
Then I created a userform (frmMyprodts) with a list box to enable user
select the products. This listbox is populated from a products table
in access - with three cols. getting data from the table. When the
user selects a product from the list, the Prod.No, Descr., and price
details are entered into the word table cells. The remaining cols.
are to be filled later.
Scenario:, i want to search the word table for a particular word (like
"... light blue") in the Descr. colum ,after the user has selected a
product(s). If a certain product is selected containg these words,
then a standard text should be entered in a bookmark ("bmk_match") in
the template. E.g. if the user selects a product(s) like: Dye light
blue, Dye dark brown, Plastics light blue, etc. Then the standard
text "available once a month" should be inserted into the
bookmark(bmk_match"), otherwise nothing should happen.

I am not clear on the concept.

Where is this bookmark ("bmk_match")?
When does this updating should occur?
Every time a product is added to the table?
When closing the document?
Whenever the user decides it is time to do so?
Are products added to the table one by one whenever the user wants to? Or
all in one go when creating the document?
