If you have Acrobat 5 you can get around the filename prompt by using a
registry setting. Although the Word PDF project is password-protected, the
equivalent Excel macro is not, and the two work in the same way. Step
through it and you'll see that it works in two parts: part one gets the file
name and writes it to the registry; part two calls the PDF writer itself.
You can write your own function in Word that puts the filename into the
registry then calls the writer.
