There is a setting in the Acrobat options that you access from Word that you
can check. If checked, Acrobat just creates a file with the same name as the
Word files, and overwrites any existing pdf files that might have the same
name. I did a routine like that runs for over an hour converting numerous
files without any user input. I am using Acrobat 6.02, I do not remember if
that option was available in Acrobat 5.
