I've tried to find the crossposting option at this website... and I can't find it. I came upon this newsgroup when I was searching through all the information at the microsoft site. I apologize. S'excuse moi, s'il vous plait. Merci pour l'information!
I've posted the following at the General board in response to advice from my previous requrest. So you have any adivce on how to solve the following:
I have two other questions that I hope you may be able to answer.
As mentionned before, I'm making a template. Its a course outline form for teachers to complete. They are required to complete the following information for each course's unit:
Unit 1: TYPE the unit's title
Time: TYPE the number of instructional hours for the unit hrs
Dates: TYPE the dates of instruction (Month, #, Year)
Description
INSERT the information from the Course Profile (MSWord document) at the Ontario Curriculum Centre
Expectations
Overall Expectations
INSERT the information from the Course Profile (MSWord document) at the Ontario Curriculum Centre
The unit number is a drop-down and the rest of the information is to be filled in our "pasted" from another file. Some courses have two units... some have ten. How can I create a form that "asks" the teachers how many units in the course and then creates that number of unit information sections?
Secondly,
the teachers are also required to indicate, from a list of 24 items, which teaching strategies they will be using. I figured out the "checkbox" option with forms. Is there a way that only those items "checked" will be displayed and printed?
I'm working with a group of highschool teachers with a wide range of computer/word processing knowledge (some have problems using the mouse!) so I am trying to make this task for them as easy as possible... which is making my task seem more difficult than possible! Hope you are out there and can offer some advice,
Christy
