    I'll agree that it's no little task. Consider just one facet: What
    does "resize the photos equally" mean when the original pictures
    aren't all the same size and shape? Does it mean an equal percentage
    of one of the original edge measurements? Or does it mean they all are
    forced into the same size and shape? If the latter, how do you decide
    how to crop pictures -- always from one edge, or from both edges, or
    do you let the user choose? Do you need to worry about the resolutions
    of the original and/or final pictures?
