I guess I should be thankful, though, that this is one of the few things that Word 2007 broke (upgrading from Word 2003).
The same behaviour has existed since at least Word 2000 ...

Thanks Pam - I played with a couple of work-arounds and that was one that worked for me. It still seems weird to have to do that though..
I guess I should be thankful, though, that this is one of the few things that Word 2007 broke (upgrading from Word 2003). At least this is one of the few bugs I've noticed in the month since I've upgraded.
Can you say "no-brainer" though? If you define that row as the header, then dontcha think Word should keep it with the table that it's, um, heading?
