    G'Day Sami,

I am a bit late responding, so I just hope you get this.

As you read my suggestion, try not to misunderstand -
I use Office and I will go on using office -BUT- there is
a solution to your problem and ITS FREE.

Look at http://www.openoffice.org/, and you will see
    a free download available of OpenOffice.org - a full
    featured suite comprising:
                        Writer - Word Processor
                        Calc - Spreadsheet
                        Impress - Presentation and
                        Draw - Drawing.

These products have a surprising degree of compatibility
with Office, and do seem to be stable.

If you create your Script in Word, using a table with (say)
two columns - Writer can open it.

If the Script segments are in the (wider) left column, and
their durations in a narrow right-hand column, then you
may use Writer's formatting to format that RH column
as 00:00:00 AND Writers SUM formula to obtain
    the sum.

Until you actually do the formatting and formula in Writer,
you can open and save/print etc. it with either.

Once you have done the formatting and formula, Word will
open it only in Text extraction mode.

    I do hope this helps.
