If you set Hidden Text to be shown, do the letters r and s then appear?

I have one important file containing some important information in word
file. the problem is that from the whole file containing 170 pages the
character R & S is automatically removed from the file. I am sending the
sample for same and kindly help :

The problem comes in perticular one file only. My Operating system is
Windows XP and Microsoft word version 97. It is an old file. The font used
in
this file is Tahoma. this problem come is my one file named
"telephone-20.doc"
Actually when the Data is punched in that file the data is OK. After
reopening the file on the same day or next day this problem occures.
kindly guide accordingly.
