Re: Nonbreaking Space before ':' ?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

This is an AutoFormat.

In Word 2003 (and earlier): (menu) > Tools > AutoCorrect Options
In Word 2007: Office button > Word Options > Proofing tab > AutoCorrect Options button

In the dialogue (all versions), select the AutoFormat as You Type tab, and uncheck the Replace as you type: "straight quotes" with "Smart quotes" option.

Hello,

I'm having a little problem with word, obviously.
When I'm typing a text in French, word will automaticly put a nonbreaking space in front of a ':'.
My question is: Does anybody know how to disable this function?
I've searched everywhere but I just can't find it.
Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Arno
