I'm using Word XP. So dunno the solution is applicable to 98 or not.
[For Office XP]
Go to Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect Tab | Deselect "Capitalise the
first letter of the sentence"
I do think the option is avaiable in 98 too. But the pathway should be
different. But it should be somewhere in tools | options |
dictionaries/spelling/grammar etc. if my memory serves.
