A recent issue of "Smart Computing" magazine in an article "Speed up Your
PC" suggests uninstalling some fonts. It says that Windows loads all fonts
into memory.
My fonts folder has hundreds of fonts. There seems to be 3 types as
indicated by the icons. The icons show either a TT, an O or an A. I presume
some are system fonts and shouldn't be deleted.
So, assuming some are safe to delete (to be determined)- just delete them?
Any potential negative effects?
Are there any MS articles on the subject? Any advice?

Meanwhile, with en at least and my current fonts, the current 4.2.4 ... there's extra vertical space in the preview title at least that could be ... It's worth noting that several of the other left-set icons already ... (KDE)
Re: suse firefox = who did rpm ? ... It looks like it is more a case of readability fonts....toolbar while the FF fonts desplay the website in the "message box". ... & "print" icons from the toolbar which will give me a decent url bar size ... (alt.os.linux.suse)

Surely if he genuinely needs fonts, icons etc. larger for comfortable use then isn't it sick raptor not to let him change them or at least change them for him? ...Employers have to make reasonable adjustments for any disability like poor eyesight. ...
