Re: Certain symbols don't print

Explore your printer Properties. Usually there is a setting to download the
fonts as bitmaps or "soft fonts."

Alas, this is the very first thing I tried. (Before posting here.) Unfortunately, the printer in question is an inkjet, and the driver seems to expose no useful settings.
