Bug submission

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Is it still possible to submit bugs in Word 2003 and will does
Microsoft still repair non-security based bugs? If so how? When I
try to go through Microsoft connect they do not show Office 2003 as an
available connection.

We have a large number of customers having problems with the following
bug:

Title: Embedded fonts disappear after saving document

Description: If a user receives a document with an embedded font that
has full embedding rights (i.e. installable embedding), opens the
document and then saves it to their harddrive. The next time the
document is opened a substituted font appears in place of the embedded
font. This has been documented across many systems and installations.

Reproduce steps:
1. Create new word document.
2. Turn on font embedding.
3. Use a font with full embedding rights (installable embedding), that
the receiving computer does not have installed on it.
4. Send or copy file to receiving computer.
5. Open file in word.
6. Save file (File save).
7. Close file.
8. Reopen file.

Actual result: Substituted font is used in place of embedded font.

Expected result: Ability to see the embedded font.
