If you compare fake italic using Tahoma with the carefully designed
oblique in Verdana you'll see that there's more to doing an oblique than
a programmatic skewing.
Because we see so much fake italic Tahoma on the Web and elsewhere we
decided to add a true italic to Segoe UI the Windows Vista UI font.
