Multiple copies problem

I recently changed my printer from an HP PSC 750 to an HP PSC 2710 conected
wirelessly.

I now find a problem with printing either multiple copies or mitliple page
documents using Word 2003 under Windows XP - In each case, only one page is
printed.

I tested the issue on a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat reader and on an
Excel document - No problems.

New documents seem to print OK but documents originally created in the
PSC750 environment and documents derived from them using 'copy/paste' or
'Save As' do not work properly.

HP, of course, have never experienced such a problem with their products
before (likely story) and quickly move into the 'we don't support that'
mode.

Any ideas will be most gratefully received.
