The printer is a GCC Elite XL-40, running in postscript mode. This
printer is GCC's current top of the line printer (and it is very
nice... <g>)
I've been using post script printers with windows/word for many years
now, and not had problems before selecting fonts. Word thinks there is
something 'special' about these fonts, though I don't see what. It
isn't that the fonts are unusable--it is just that they are a PITA to
select as you have to go through the menu to get to them--the
quickchooser won't do them...
As to the Epson references... I've seen taht one, and seen several
other printer manul references, though all seem to be only a font
listing for a printer.
