I've got a couple of 5si at work. I run Word 2000 with Win2k and Word 97
on Win 98 at them. Yours is a weird problem.

Several things I'd try to fault find:

Word background printing off?
Did it work before?
Is it just this document or all?
Virus protection up to date?
Can you print to another printer? What happens...?
Print to the 5si from another app say Wordpad or Notepad - try copying
just the text of the 4 page document in what happens.

I do remember do a fair bit of beggaring about with drivers when we
first got the machines (fantastic though with the 2000 *** feeder
work all day without complaining, can you tell I love my 5si)

You get my drift...if still a prob I'll load up Office XP next week on
the 2k machine and see if problem can be reproduced maybe need a copy
of your troublesome file.
