Not the way you mean it (layers), no. Best you could do would be to format what
you don't want to print as "hidden" (most efficient would be a set of styles
for each "layer", based on one "master" style. Set the "hidden" component of
it, and that will cascade to the entire set)
Another possibility would be to build the document from numerous, separate
files. Then just include (or remove) the set of files you want to print.
