Yes. In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations, and note the
folder for "User Templates". That is where your Normal.dot global
template will be located. Normal.dot is a hidden file in Word 2002 and
2003. Open your Normal.dot file, change the columns to One, type one or
two characters and then delete what you just typed, and save and close
your Normal.dot file.
