Re: page numbers in word 2007

I have updated the article with Word 2007 instructions.

I left the exhortation to PLEASE not do this in place on behalf of the poor
readers who have to try to use the document :-)

You will have to insert a section break before each new major heading,
which must be a built-in heading; that way, you can have the page
numbers restart. The general principle is explained in the article at
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/numbering/ChapterNumber.htm (but note that it
includes no specific instructions for Word 2007).

That includes page numbering restarts at chapter/section level... I
tried using the restart page numbers from... in options but that
didn't work...

How can I do this (or something close)? Its for a manual so lookup
should be clear and easy
