Re: No initial capital after numbered list

Word used to capitalize the first letter of numbered lists, but apparently
there were a lot of (vocal) users who didn't want this (in many legal
applications, there are lists of numbered items that are NOT capitalized),
so the default was changed. Unfortunately, this also affects beginnings of
sentences in running text: Word doesn't capitalize after a sentence that
ends in a number, either--very maddening when you have gotten spoiled by
AutoCorrect!

Thanks! I have never thought of this problem before, but now I'm making a
template with numbered headings and numbered lists, and the person who
ordered it wants initial capitalization for all the numbered headings and
numbered lists. I guess that I just have to tell him that it can’t be set
automatically.

The workaround is to use the Shift key. See “Word does not capitalize
the
first letter of a sentence” at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291538

Hi!
I recently discoverd that if I use a numbered list word does not
capitalize
the first letter. I understand that this is a well-known problem but is
there some way to work around it?
It would be ok if this happened just after numbered list but if I open
a
document and write in it it will autocorrect as it should. But if I
then
use
a numbered list it won`t autocorrect even when I go back to normal. And
I
have choosen to autocorrect initial capital. It goes back to
autocorrect
as
it should onley if a manually change a letter to capital. Is there some
solution to this problem?

/Lina
