When I click on either the menu tab "File | Open" or the folder icon
representing "open file," I get a pop-up box that lists the location of
the word documents. If I then click on the "Views" icon and select
"Preview," a second pane -- on the right -- appears that shows the
contenbt of the document I have highlighted. The pane on the left still
shows the selected folder location. Thus, the pop-up box that comes up
when I "Open File" becomes a 2-pane window.
