Re: Merging to labels

Still missing info. I will presume the version I am using cannot handle a
large quantity of data for a label merge and do this the long way.

It's always possible. Are there a lot?

Something you can try for now:
a. select your two columns in Excel
b. Edit|Copy
c. create a new document in Word
d. Edit|Paste, creating a two-column table in Word
e. use the Word document as the data source for your merge

Just tried doing that, still missing data. Would the number of labels I
need
to merge be a factor?

As a possible workaround, try checking Word
Tools|Options|General|"Confirm
conversion at open", go through the process of connecting to the Excel
sheet
again, select the DDE option when it is offered, and see if that makes a
difference.

My data source is an excel file, only two columns.

What is the data source?

Tried inserting the mergefields I needed, still missing data when
perform
the
merge. Did the match field thing and that is correct. It is
sporatic
on
the data it is not merging. Using Word 2002 - is this the problem?

Probably because you are using the Addressblock which causes more
problems
than it solves. Just insert the individual mergefields that you
want
to
appear on the labels in the configuration that you want.
