I have 2 users that I cannot specify their Workgroup Templates location in
    Word 2000.

The field is blank in the Options/File Locations dialogue box. If I try to
modify the entry, it does not save and the entry remains blank.

I have set the location for all users in a login script that directly
modifies the registry entry for the location. Both users have the registry
entry set but are still unable to access templates from that location.

I suspect the problem is related to their roaming profile rather than their
workstation. If they log into another machine, same problem. If an
unaffected user logs into their workstation, it does not affect their
    profile.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

    Ken
