Text boxes use Normal style. If you haven't changed the style or applied
direct font formatting, when you paste into Word 2007 you're getting a
different font and different line spacing from what you had in the earlier
version.

Our company created letterhead in Word 2007 that is made up of 2 graphics
and
1 textbox, grouped together. When we copy and paste this letterhead, we
are
having 2 specific problems with the textbox only.

1. When we paste the letterhead, the text in the box is rearranged. For
example, the first line consists of the company name clear to the left and
the address clear to the right using a right poosition tab stop. When we
copy the letterhead from the template onto another letter, the first line
now
includes an additional center position tab stop and another tab stop. The
address, which was clear to the right, is now right next to the company
name.
How do I stop that from happening.

2. The company name in the text box is preceded by a solid colored square
that is formatted with Times New Roman, size 18. When we copy the
letterhead
over to another letter, the square is replaced with a square with a
question
mark. When we highlight the square/question mark, it shows font type
Calibri. If we change the Calibri to Times New Roman, the square becomes
a
solid colored square again. How do we stop that from happening?
