Is it possible that you've actually inadvertently inserted two copies of the picture? To see, click what you see to select it, then drag it off a little to see if there's another copy hiding below it.

I have a picture that looks fine in Print Preview, but when I actually print
it on paper, it's all messed up. I get two images of the same think
overlapped and cropped. Have tried moving it, resizing it, formatting every
control I can think of and nadda.

Using Word 2007 with Vista. Printer is HP Photosmart 2610.
