Re: Why don't I have color in my fill and line color toolbar butto

Fill Color and Line Color are available only when an AutoShape is selected.
There is no need even to be displaying the Drawing toolbar unless you're
working with AutoShapes. You may be confusing these with the Shading Color
and Line Color buttons on the Tables and Borders toolbar, which use the same
icons and apply to text rather than graphics.

Thanks for the reply; however, I don't have a duplicate post. (At least
not
one that I can see on this board.) Therefore, I don't know your initial
response.

I just upgraded to Office 2003 from the Office XP version. I have
the
button; however, when I click on it, the color choice boxes are
completley
empty. How can I fix this? Also, can anyone tell my why the default
in my
software wasn't to automatically have fill and line color? It wasn't
like
that in Office XP.

Thanks for any help.
