    It wasn't the driver. Uninstalled/reinstalled but it still didn't work. By
    chance, I discovered that if I give the user admin rights on the local
    machine, then the document opens fine and all embedded/objects appear as
    expected. If I remove the admin rights to the machine then the problem
    persists. What could be causing this???
