EPS graphic don't show up after inserting into Word

Hi,

I save pdf files as eps files and import them into Word.
But after the files are imported into Word, the graphic
doesn't show. When I click on the page I get a square box
which lets me resize and edit my graphic. Because of this
I know that the eps files are imported but just somehow
don't show. I have checked the "Picture Holder" box to
make sure it is clear and that Word is not just showing
the place holder of the graphic. I'm using Word 2003.
Anyone have any idea as to how to resolve this?
