Word not displaying pictures - please help!

In Word some pictures do not display, but others do.
For the pictures that do not display all I get is a square where the
picture is.

If I go do a Print Preview the picture is there.

If I am in Normal, Web layout, Print Layout or outline view the same
thing happens, I still see some pictures

but not others. I am using Word 2002

Has anyone else experianced this? Why is it happening?

What can I do to make it show all pictures?

I hope you can help and I appreciate all information and help given.
