How to delete page/s

I have a 50 page Word 2007 document with a common header and footer. What I
want to do is delete various pages throughout the report. I tried to view it
with Thumbnails and click on the Thumbnail pages I want to delete but that
doesn’t work. Is there a simple solution to get rid of these pages?
