Hi guys,
This sure is a newbie question but i did not find the option of how can i
delete from Page X to Page Z in Microsoft Word?
I would like to do it by some command or menu...I do not want to do it by
selecting the pages while pressing Shift. The word document is very heavy and
slow with lot of photos and it takes forever to move pages.
Any ideas?
Thanks and Cheers,
Sebastian
There isn't any command or menu way to do this.
Click at the start of the first page you want to delete. Then use the vertical
scroll bar, or the mouse wheel if you have one, to bring the end of the last
page into view. Hold the Shift key and click at the end to select everything
between the two points in one action, then press Delete.
Note that while you're going to the end of the selection, you must not use the
arrow keys or PageDown or anything else that moves the insertion point.
It would be possible to write a macro to do this job, but it isn't as simple as
it sounds because Word isn't really organized around pages.
