Use the "Add to template" option in the Modify Style dialog box to transfer
the settings of a style to the attached template.

I have a document I created based on a template I created. I used captions
in
this document. I prefer captions that are 10 point Arial. Sometime between
the 4th and 5th version of my document, the captions switched to 12 point.
I
went to Format, Styles, and changed it to 10. Fine. Then I saved the
document. When I opened the document back up, it was back to 12 points.
When
I am in the Style formatting dialog box, I've tried every combination of
Update Formatting Automatically and Update Template.
How can I get the caption style to be 10 point and STAY 10 point after I
save it and reopen it?
