Re: Caption as Textbox

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Set the insertion option (Word options > advanced) or the graphics layout
property (Text wrapping on the picture format tab) to something other than
'in-line'

If you use frames, frames too have a wrap option

How do I wrap graphics then?

Word 2007 does "see" captions in text boxes, but for backward
compatibility reasons it is still a good idea to make use of frames.

The caption will be in a text box if the item selected for
captioning is wrapped. But note that captions in a text box cannot
be seen by Word for purposes of cross-references or a Table of
Figures. You'd be much better advised to put graphic and caption
together in a frame or leave both inline. You can move an inline
caption just the same as you can move any other text.

I used to have captions as textboxes automatically but since today
I don't have them anymore. The problem is that I can't move the
captions anymore...
(except of creating a textbox+caption manually, but thats too
inconvenient).
Do you have any idea how to change it again?
