Re: .doc files do not launch Word 2007

Yes... but if you read the post, double-clicked .doc files open "Works", or
any other program you want to associate with it..... except WINWORD. It
simply will not let you associate Winword.exe A quick search will show you
that lots of people are having the same problem... Your link seems to be for
people who have two versions of Word installed.. ???

HELP FYI, I can launch Word 2007 and then use "file open" to open a
