Word 2003 - autotext not updated

This is a problem that has just started happening, so probably
something I've done ! I add a simple autotext such as 'filename', and
instead of getting the document's filename inserted, I get the text
'{FILENAME}'. If I hit F3, this becomes '{{FILENAME}}'. Very odd, as
it's always worked perfectly for me before. Same problem occurs for
any other kind of autext, too.

Any ideas , anyone ?
