Re: Cannot fill in form fields upon reopening the file after protectio

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TWl0dW4=?=,

I have created a form in Word 2003 using textboxes and check boxes. I
protected the form allowing "Filling in forms" in the Editing Restrictions.
Straight after protecting the form I can use it as desired (i.e. type in text
and tick check boxes) but once I close down Word and then try to reopen the
form I cannot do anything. If I doubleclick on any of the fields it opens up
VBA for the code.

It sounds as if you've created this form using the Controls Toolbox? These are
ActiveX controls that activate the "macro storage" part of the document.

Check the settings in Tools/Macro/Macro security. You'll need to have "Middle"
or "Low" security. Or you need to sign the VBa project with a trusted digital
signature.
