RE: Mac Word 10 documents open as garbage in Word 2003 on PC

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

I have a similar problem. Prior to 12th March I could open Word 10
attachments from a Mac, and now I can't. It seems to happen with word
documents (created on a Mac) and either opened from Outlook, or saved from
Outlook onto the desktop and then opened. I've just gone back through stored
emails with word doc (mac Word 10) attachments from 2006 that I know I've
opened without a problem and now I can't.
I don't know if this bit is helpful but If I use my servers web interface
with Internet Explorer and access the emails I can open the documents in IE6
from the server directly without a problem. Have tried removing the last
March 12th updates from a laptop, running the same setup as my desktop, but
that hasn't corrected it.

Any ideas

Dan

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Microsoft Word/Office, Version 11.0, Build 8202
