Even though you are able to print from other applications your ink can't be
ruled out just yet. :-) You may be using the Automatic font color in Word
which even though it looks black a color blend might be used instead of your
black ink cartridge. Try changing the font color of a sample document to
black (don't use Automatic, make sure you are using Black) and try printing
again.

When I print a document in Word the page is blank. I know there is ink in
the
cartridge because I can print outside of Word program.
