pWhen I click on Word from within Start/All Programs, it resonds with the
message "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
Clicking on a desktop or start menu shortcut results in the same error
response.
The only way I can open word is to open Works Suite 2004 and select the Word
program and then click on the open folder.

What do you mean by 'not opening directly from the program'?.
You almost certainly don't need to uninstall anything.
If you create a shortcut on the desktop to winword.exe what happens when you
click it?

I have encountered a problem with Word 2002 not opening directly from
the program but will open from Works Suite 2004 after selecting Word
from the list of applications.
I assume I need to uninstall Works Suite 2004 and use the CD obtained
from the PC manufacturer to reinstall the portion that applies to
Works and Word. I also have Money 2004, Streets & Trips, Encarta and
Picture It originally installed from the CD.
I need to be certain of the correct uninstall method to use before
reinstalling to correct the problem with Word opening.
