I need to see if I read your issue correctly. You're trying to edit a Word
document (version not stated) in Works (version not stated). Is that
correct?

i have a word document that i copied from my old computer (windows 2000) to
my new computer (windows vista premium) and it wont copy in exactly the

format to the works word processor document. when i click on edit on the
original version, the open for editing button is not highlighted so it
