Re: Show common words in document?

It won't produce the 'report' you want, but take a look at Edit>Find. Tick
the checkbox for 'Highlight all items found in:', then click Find All. It
will give you a count of occurrences right there in the dialog... you'll
still have to physically record the results elsewhere. You might want to
examine the other features of Find & Replace while there by clicking the
More button.

There is probably 3rd party utilities or plug-ins that offer such a feature,
but I'm not familiar with them if they exist. Whether a VBA solution is
available to automate the process I can't say either, but there may be
further responses on the subject.

Greetings,

I am wondering if someone can tell me if this is possible or if there is
something available that will let me do this...

Is there a way to export or display the common words in a single word
document? For example, show me that the word "football" is used 33 times
in
the document and then the word "basketball" is used second most and so on?

Either displayed in a popup window or able to be exported?

I hope this makes sense... ;)
