Re: Words get split when printing

It sounds like Word's handling of the issue is correct, and that the problem
is with the printer driver. So, I would try to obtain a later printer driver
to see if that fixes the problem.

Hello,

The problem doesn't show up when i look at the doc in print preview and
the
compatability setting looks ok. does this mean its the driver?

thanks

It could be a compatibility setting, and it could be a printer driver
problem. First, check Tools - Options - Compatibility, and set the
options
for the version of Word you have. If that doesn't fix it, try visiting
your
printer mfg's web site and see if you can download a newer version of the
printer driver.

Also... when you choose File - Print Preview, does the problem show up
there?

When I print my text the last letter of some words seems to be
unattached
from the main body of the word ie wor d. The text is justified so i was
wondering if it was something to do with that, however the words aren't
split
on screen. I was also wondering if it could be a printer problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks

John
