Hi YHD,
I can help with the problem of inserting the entire equation instead of just
the label and number. I had the same problem a while ago and Suzanne S.
Barnhill posted:

"Put the equation and caption in separate cells of a single-row, two-column
borderless table."

It worked perfectly, though I'm not sure why it's necessary.

You can turn that off with Tools>Options>Print>Update cross references. But
if you do, the cross references will be "wrong" when you print.

During editing, the cross references have been damaged. You need to
re-insert them.

You should never finalise a document until all damaged cross references are
fixed. Then it will automatically print correctly each time without error.

Chances are the problem is unresolved tracked changes. Turn off Track
Changes, then Accept all changes in the document to remove them. The cross
references may come right when you do. If they do not, you will have to fix
each one.
