To follow up on Jezebel's line of thinking, you might educate the senders
about how to use a CREATEDATE field instead of a DATE field.

Everytime somebody sends me a document, and if they used the wrong fieldoff
(they used the autoupdate date field), is there any way to globally turn
the auto updates? I know that I can go in for each document, delete theold
date field and click CreateDate, but how can I do this for all documentsthat
are sent to me without having to go into each document that is sent to me?
Thanks.
