Re: macro not opening dot file as document1
When you double-click a .dot file, the default action is New rather than
Open. If you have a macro to *open* the file, then that is the problem.

I created a template called Letterhead.dot by saving it as a template.
When
I double click the file it opens up correctly as Document1 and I'm able to
save it as a document when I click save. But when I open it with a macro,
it
says Letterhead.dot instead of Document1 and saves it as a template
.
