I am having difficulty getting my fields to print correctly. I am using aThis has been a problem with some versions of Word + certain printer drivers.
"SectionPages" field. I have my print settings set to "Update fields". When
I hit print preview or print all of the "SectionPages" fields update and
print as "1". If I go back into the document after printing and update the
field "F9" it returns to the correct number.
"Fixes" vary. Sometimes, printing in reverse order, or with a different
"background printing" option, or printing from a different view can help.
I had one configuration where I had to manually (or with a macro) update then
lock all the field codes in the header/Footer before printing.
