Another (and better) solution is to avoid manual page breaks by using a
combination of "Keep with next" and "Keep lines together" to force the
heading and its following text onto the next page naturally.

I have set up a Heading 2 style which uses spacing 25 points before,
break,after.
If the heading appears on a new page following an automatic page
end upthe
space before does not appear, but if I insert a manual page break I
with an ugly 25 point gap at the top of the page.
How can I stop this from appearing after a manual page break?
Product is Word 2002 SP3.
