Not a genius, I've just hung around here for a while and picked up a few
tips.
PDF is a whole different thing. You need OCR software to convert it (with
all the problems of OCR software), then you can copy. Right now, as far as
Word and your computer are concerned, it is a picture.

I have a contract that I would like to copy some of the text into a new
